The Royal game of Ur, also known as 20 Squares is an ancient Sumerian game that is played with two sets of seven markers and four dice.
The rules of the game as it was played in Mesopotamia are unknown but there is a reliable reconstruction of gameplay based on a cuneiform tablet of Babylonian origin dating from 177 to 176 BC.
Rules have been engraved as they are now, so you can enjoy the game from the start.
Wooden board is from Birch ply and fully engraved from all sides with Sumerian Gods symbols.
The Game of Ur board game has been covered in varnish gloss.
The dice are 3D printed.
Condition is New, dimensions are 260 x 100 x 35mm (10.23 x 3.93 x 1.37 in).
